To my GREAT Uncle Alex. I will miss you and your flamboyant laugh and smile. But I know that you take that with you to heaven, and that resounding laugh and happiness will echo across the heavens, just as it did on earth.
Lots of Love, Jesse and Jie Dorgan
Alex,
You have touched many lives with your fun, colorful, love of life personality and mine is no exception. You have given us many memories to hold dear to our hearts.
One that will always come to me at Christmas time, is the digging into the largest stocking I've ever seen to see what was in it. Then, I've never seen so much chocolate come out of a stocking, it was never ending - now that's my kind of stocking.
Alex, thank you for keeping the Ukrainian tradition strong in the family, thank you for being an inspiration to Bryce and Troy, and last but not least thank you for making your vinegar and oil salad we always had at Easter.
I will truly miss you!!
Dido, the love we have for you is un-measurable. You had a passion for life which you shared with us and you provided Baba with the love and support only an amazing man would do. I found out a couple days after I booked my flights to Australia that you weren't doing well. I remember Baba always saying that she was "mad" you never took her to Australia (even though you took her all over the world!). So when you passed peacefully in your sleep with Baba by your side on the same day I was leaving to start my new life here, I knew you would be right beside me for the journey so you could finally see Australia! The entire flight was packed full, except I had an extra seat between Jaiden and I, and I knew at that very moment, that you were sitting beside me keeping us safe.
Dido, we were always very close. My fond memories are of you taking me to the football games, enjoying coco in the mornings, making a mess every time you ate, just to name a few! But the fondest memories I have are that of Christmas time. You being so full of life with all of us around, your oversized stocking that was sure to be full when Santa came, Christmas caroling, and you and Baba spoiling all us grandchildren.
I am so very happy that Rav and the kids were able to spend so much time with you these last few years. You took them in as your own, and for that I am grateful.
We miss you dearly already, stay "delicious".
Love you
Dido,
Troy and I have known you all our lives, and still to this day all the memories we have of you are amazing. You were always smiling, making jokes and thinking of "smart" remarks to say to everyone, making everyone in the room laugh. You are one of the most amazing person Troy and I know and will never forget who you are and where we came from. We both idol you for your love of your wife/our Baba, as well as your love for family. You've touched our hearts in more ways then one. We'll strive to have your enthusiasm for hard work like when you owned the hotel. But most importantly strive to live life as you were full of life. Troy and I love you and always will.
Until we see each other again, Dido.
Dido, we miss you so much already however, we are happy that you can rest comfortably now. We will always remember your zest for life and your unwavering love for your family, friends and community. You touched many lives throughout your years and accomplished many great things. Although it wasn't for long, Matt and I are so happy that you and Logan were able to spend some time together. You will live on in our hearts. We love you.
Digo,
Although we will miss your infectious personality, passion for life, family dedication, and unwavering support for everything we do, we are proud to follow in your footsteps. Because of the influence you have had and will always hold on our lives, we strive everyday to be better people for our family, friends and community. Your dedication to the Ukrainian community is honourable and we look forward to carrying on your legacy in the preservation of our great heritage. We can not be more proud of you and all you have accomplished throughout your life.
We will miss you but know you are amongst family, protecting and watching over us - enjoying an ice cold beverage!
We love you very much
