Death Certificates

Before the business and legal issues of the estate can be pursued, it will be necessary to obtain certified copies of the death certificate. We usually provide each family with 12. These work for insurance policies, bank accounts, investments and probate of the Will. If you require additional certified copies please contact us.

In some cases you may require a copy of the provincial registration of death. You can order them directly from the Registrar of Vital Statistics in Regina through ISC. They are required for Land Titles transfers. To download a copy of the application click here.

It is always better to order a few more than what you think you will need. Most agencies will only accept certified death certificates and not photocopies.
