Obituary for Sadie Gullacher
GULLACHER: Sadie (Sarah) M.
January 16, 1936 - May 3, 2023
It is with broken hearts and forever memories we announce the passing of Sadie (Sarah) Gullacher. Born January 16, 1936 west of Simpson on the family farm to Frederick and Louise Austin, she was a waitress at the Simpson Hotel where she met Clarence Gullacher and were married July 3,1954. Together they raised 4 children. On July 11, 2008, Sadie lost the love of her life after 54 years and remained living independently until early 2023. On May 3, 2023 Sadie lost her independence and passed away at the Manitou Lodge, Watrous, SK, with family members surrounding her. Predeceased by Husband Clarence. Brother (Bud) Frederick Austin. Mother Louise and Father Frederick Austin, Stepfather George Sornsen. Brothers in law-Victor, Leonard, and Gordon Gullacher, Sisters in law-Shirley Graham, Lois Warner, and Marion Clark.
Sadie is survived by her 4 children:
Son Lloyd (Debbie) and their children Janelle (Tanner) Hebron-children Pryor, Liam, Nora and Jamie (Kora) Gullacher with children-Rhett and Baby to be;
Son Doug (Wendy)and their children Troy (Jolene) Gullacher-children-Claire, Grace. Christina (Darren) Garchinski-children- Elizabeth, Ethan and Aaron (Christine) Gullacher-children Mya, Kennedy;
Son Carey (Dianne) Gullacher-children-stepson Josh (Carisa) James-children Jack, Carter, stepson Shane James. Stepdaughter Karen (Dustin) Stupnikoff- children-Emerson, Hollis, Anderson, Brittany (Austin) Doell-son Braydon. Step daughter Kimberley Gullacher (Jace Steele);
Daughter Darlene (Ricky) Gross-children-Darrick (Alauna) Gross-children Aiden, Evan. Charmaine (Shawn) Baril-children-Hannah, Hailey, Hayven. Melinda (Carmen) Morelli- children- Makayla, Jaylynn. Dawn (Don) Gross-children Lottie, Millie, Alfie; Brother Charlie Austin (Kathy); Sister in law Carol Austin (Bruce); and Brother in law Allan Gullacher. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends!
A Celebration Tea will be held in Simpson Hall on July 3, 2023 from 2-4. Private Family Interment in Simpson Cemetery to follow.
