Norman “Butch” Edward Williams

October 29, 1946 - April 9, 2023

Norman Williams, aged 76 years, of Watrous, SK passed away peacefully at Manitou Lodge in the Watrous District Health Complex, on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Norman was born in Nipawin, SK on October 29, 1946 to Herbert Irwin James Williams and Muriel Olive Williams (nee Milbourn).

He had dreams of joining the Air Force as a young man though a work accident at a potash mine would take him in new directions. He worked for many different companies over the years as a salesman of various goods from paper products to transformers.

Norman was a hardworking jack of all trades and loved to tinker. His favourite hobbies included working on vehicles, building model planes and cars, gardening, going to the movies, and being outdoors. He had a wry sense of humour and often made jokes to try and get a laugh.

Norman was predeceased by his parents, Irwin and Muriel, and his son Colin James Wesley Williams.

He leaves behind his partner Patricia ‘Pat’ Leahy, his sister Bev (Ken) Hamilton, and brother Darwin (Myrna) Williams; former spouse Sheila Williams, and their children son, Curtis (Raquel) Williams, grandson Tristian Williams, daughter Crystal (Gordon) Hegedus, daughter Racheal (Matthew) Williams, and granddaughter Sophia Beznoska, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Ave. N, Saskatoon, SK on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at Edwards Family Centre.
