Merle David Ullyott
May 18, 1928 – November 16, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of Merle Ullyott announces his peaceful passing with his wife by his side at Biggar and District Health Centre on November 16 at the age of 87. Merle is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Patricia; children Tracy (Bonnie), Michael (Leah), Kelly (Delton Coutts), Tricia (Lonny Darroch); 12 grandchildren; sister Donna McJannet; sister-in-laws Evelyn Ullyott, Colleen Ullyott, and Shirley Roney; brother-in-laws Dennis Roney and George Green; plus his many nieces and nephews. Merle was born and raised at Simpson, SK where he farmed and resided all of his life with the exception of the last 10 months where he lived in Biggar. Merle had many interests including flying his airplane, travelling to all parts of the world, spending winters in Hawaii and keeping track of his grandchildren. A service celebrating Merle’s life will be held at Simpson Community Centre, Simpson, SK on Saturday, November 21st at 1:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Merle may be directed to Alzheimer’s Society.
