Ralph Vickaryous

Ralph Vickaryous of Watrous, SK, passed away at Royal University Hospital on Friday Oct 12 at the age of 78 years, with family by his side.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 47 years Betty (Jewell); son Micheal of Watrous; daughter Kathrene (Tim) Bank of Hudson Bay; grandsons Brendan, Graeme and Rylan Bank; brother Roger of Watrous and sister Rita Fisher (Ed Chaplin) of Whitehorse, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents Micheal and Dora; brothers Morris, Donald, Raymond and Lawrence and a sister Bernice.
Ralph was born and raised on the family homestead in the Venn district. He attended the U of S obtaining degrees in both Commerce and Arts & Science. He enjoyed a career with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as a construction foreman, travelling the province building numerous elevators. In 1967, he moved back to Watrous to start farming and to raise a family.
The Funeral Service for Ralph will be held in Watrous Baptist Church on Saturday October 20 at 2:00 pm. Interment in Venn cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Watrous Baptist Church.
