Herb, Andrea and Sarah --- What a loss: a great nurse, a loving wife and Mom; an angel in attendance at Marion's passing, a kibitzing neighbor and friend, a supportive human being. How I will miss her!!!

To Herb, Andrea and Sara, we were so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Karen was a good neighbour and friend. Our sincere condolences to you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Karen was what every nurse should be! I recall her saying that she worked hard for the privilege of wearing her nurses hat so would continue to do so even when it was not required.
Our family had encountered her professionally - I hope her care was administered as lovingly as hers was to others.
May your hearts swell with pride for having known such a remarkable woman! Deepest sympathy to all.

Dear Herb and Family; I was so sad to hear of Karen's passing. It is 50 years, this year, since we graduated from Grade 12. I can still see Karen singing along to songs on the radio. Unlike me, she knew all the words. She was a great friend with a wonderful sense of humour. My deepest sympathy goes to you all.

My deepest sympathies to all of you in the loss of your wife, mom, sister, gramma, auntie...Karen looked after me many years ago when I was a patient in Watrous Hospital then became a role model for me as I began my nursing career. Such an amazing, energetic
and funny lady.
